Julien Labruyère

Julien Labruyère became a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. After completing a medicine and surgery internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Chicago (USA), he went to the UK to work as a general practitioner for a period of 3 years.

Julien started a residency in Diagnostic Imaging at the Animal Health Trust, UK in 2005 and stayed on as a senior clinical radiologist spending much of his clinical time working with MRI. He gained the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (CertVDI) in 2007, and the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in 2009. In 2010, he became Associate Professor and Head of Unit of Diagnostic Imaging at the Veterinary school of Maisons-Alfort (France). Julien has published in several areas of diagnostic imaging and recently translated "An Atlas of Interpretative Radiographic Anatomy of the Dog & Cat" into the French language.

His principal medical interests are ocular ultrasonography and cross sectional imaging techniques (CT and MRI). He is a director of VetCT and full time radiologist.
