Brent Taylor is an experienced professional currently serving as Team Leader for Client Systems and Correspondence at Veterans Affairs Canada since August 2017, where oversight is provided to a team of Business Systems analysts facilitating application and database development for clients and partners. Previously, Brent held the position of Board Member (Adjudicative Judge) at the Veterans Review and Appeal Board for a decade, adjudicating appeals related to disability pension rulings. Additional experience includes leadership as Director of Information Systems at Atlantic Business College, and significant public service as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in New Brunswick, where Brent also acted as Chairman of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts. Early in the career, broadcasting experience was gained at Radio Atlantic CFNB. Brent holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of New Brunswick and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Integrated Studies in Political Science and Government at the University of Prince Edward Island.
