Heather Martin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in case management and child protection, currently serving as a Case Manager at Veterans Affairs Canada since May 2021. Prior to this role, Heather worked as a Child Protection Analyst at the Canadian Centre for Child Protection from October 2020 to April 2021, and as a Housing Support Worker for the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority from June 2016 to October 2020. Earlier in their career, Heather was an Insurance Advisor with Western Financial Insurance Company and participated in the Community Needs Assessment Steering Committee at West Broadway Community Ministry. Heather holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from The University of Winnipeg and a Bachelor of Human Ecology with a focus on Family Social Sciences from the University of Manitoba.
