Heather Rogers

Product Owner at Veterans Affairs Canada / Anciens Combattants Canada

Heather Rogers has extensive work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. Heather started their career in 2000 as an IT Systems Administrator at PEI Department of Health, where they were responsible for provincial system administration and developing policies and guidelines. Heather then became the DIIS Operational Manager at PEI Dept. of Health, managing client/vendor relationships and supervising support technicians. In 2006, they joined Health PEI as a Health Care IT Consultant, overseeing a Clinical Informatics Unit and managing PEI's Clinical Information system. Currently, they are working at Veterans Affairs Canada / Anciens Combattants Canada as a Product Owner and Team Lead. Heather also briefly served as the A/Manager of Initiatives and Projects.

Heather Rogers holds a Collaborative Leadership and Facilitation Certificate from the University of Prince Edward Island, which was obtained in 2006. Heather also has a Certificate in Management Studies in Business Administration and Management from the same university, earned from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Business Information Processing with a specialization in End User Support Specialist from Holland College, achieved from 1993 to 1995. In terms of additional certifications, they are a Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) from the Scrum Alliance, a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) also from the Scrum Alliance, and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from LearningToSee Consulting.
