Scott Bury is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in writing, editing, and teaching. Since January 1991, Scott has been the owner of The Written Word, focusing on customer relations, marketing, research, writing, proposals, editing, and strategic planning. In addition, Scott serves as a Senior Communications Officer at Veterans Affairs Canada and as an Editor at the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada, contributing to consumer protection and financial literacy efforts. Scott's editorial expertise extends to roles at Graphic Monthly magazine, Canadian Printer, and Electronic Publishing magazine, among others. An educator at Algonquin College and Carleton University, Scott has taught English and writing skills to students, enhancing their academic proficiency. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Carleton University, awarded between 1979 and 1982.
