Veterans Community Project
Vincent Morales has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Vincent started their career in the US Army in 2003, where they held the position of Sergeant First Class (SFC). Vincent'sservice in the army lasted until 2015. In 2014, Vincent joined The Salvation Army as a Peer Mentor, a role they held until 2016.
In 2015, Vincent co-founded the Veterans Community Project (VCP) and took on multiple roles within the organization. Vincent served as the Vice President of National Expansion and coordinated community engagement as the VCP VSS Coordinated Community Engagement Director. Additionally, Vincent was responsible for managing community resources as the Community Resources Coordinator. Vincent still holds these positions at VCP, as the end dates have not been provided for these roles.
Vincent Morales holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Park University. Vincent also obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Sociology from Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley. Additionally, they attended Bishop Hogan in 1998-1999 for General Studies. Vincent also has a certification as a WWP Peer Mentor from the Wounded Warrior Project, although the specific date of obtaining the certification is unknown.

Veterans Community Project (VCP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ending Veteran homelessness by providing transitional-housing, wrap-around support services, and emergency assistance. Headquartered in Kansas City, MO, VCP uses Kansas City as the blueprint for achieving similar success in its expansion to cities across the United States, with the long-term goal of eliminating Veteran homelessness nationwide. VCP is a team of connectors, feelers, and doers on a mission to help our kin, our kind. We move with swift, bold action, always motivated to serve with compassion. We took an oath to serve all who served us by dedicating our time and careers to eradicating Veteran homelessness in Kansas City.
