Kristin Dodds is currently serving as the Senior Vice Commander at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Prior to this role, Kristin held various positions in the US Army, including Team Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, and Team Leader. Kristin also worked as a Civil Affairs Specialist, focusing on building relationships between the Army and local civilians in different operating environments. With a background in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) roles at companies like Komatsu Mining Corp. and John Crane, Kristin has also served as an Operations Analyst, aiming to improve profit margins through cost analysis and process improvements. Kristin is a BA graduate from Ripon College and holds a Master of Science in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
