David Leon

David Leon has a diverse work experience history. David started their professional journey at Columbia College as a Student Success Ambassador from August 2012 to October 2013. Later, they interned at the Office of U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill from August 2014 to December 2014. In 2016, David joined Convergent Telecom as a Project Assistant for the Unified Communications Team until November 2017 when they became an Enhanced Project Lead for the same team, a position they held until August 2018. In September 2018, they transitioned to Cerner Corporation as an Integrated Technologies Consultant until January 2019. Following that, they worked at Veterans United Home Loans where they held various roles, including Support Technician from January 2019 to April 2020, Product Owner from April 2020 to June 2020, Senior Support Technician from June 2020 to September 2020, and currently as an Information Technology Team Lead from September 2020.

David Leon received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a Minor in International Relations from Columbia College, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. These include being certified in Cybersecurity (CC) from ISC2 in September 2023, completing the Project Management Essentials course from Coursera in September 2023, becoming a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator in July 2023, becoming an (ISC)² Candidate in May 2023, and obtaining the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert in August 2022.
