Beverly E. currently serves as a SUD Counselor at Veterans Village of San Diego since June 2023. Previously, Beverly worked as a passenger service agent for American Airlines from August 1999 to February 2015 before retiring. Additionally, Beverly spent nearly three decades as a Senior Facilities Requirements Analyst at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center from 1970 to 1999. Beverly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from San Diego State University, where studies were completed from August 2019 to December 2022, and an Associate of Arts in Behavioral Sciences from Grossmont College.

Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD) has served all veterans since 1981 and is dedicated to “Leave No One Behind.” With five locations throughout San Diego County, VVSD is the only program of its kind in the United States and is nationally recognized as the leader in serving homeless military veterans. Each year VVSD provides services to more than 3,000 military veterans throughout the County of San Diego.
