Anusha Balakrishnan

Anusha Balakrishnan is an experienced veterinary professional specializing in emergency and critical care. Currently serving as the Director of Emergency Certificate Education at Veterinary Emergency Group since May 2022, Anusha has previously held significant positions including Director of Emergency and Critical Care at Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospitals and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Anusha's expertise is further established through leadership roles at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists and The Ohio State University, as well as training completed during a residency in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Anusha earned a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Madras Veterinary College, complementing a solid foundation in veterinary medicine from an early education at Springdales School in New Delhi.
