Angelique Ruggiero

Angelique Ruggiero is a dedicated veterinary professional currently serving as a Veterinary Assistant at the Veterinary Emergency & Referral Group since May 2021. Concurrently, Angelique holds the position of Extern at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and serves as the Facilities Representative for the Class of 2024, facilitating communication between students and university staff. Previous experience includes roles as a Nursing Assistant at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, a volunteer and researcher at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai focusing on therapeutic compounds for tauopathies, and a research assistant at Syracuse University studying the effects of estrogen on memory in rats.
