Anjana Mangalat is a dedicated veterinary professional currently serving as a Surgical Intern at Veterinary Emergency & Referral Group since July 2022. Previously, Anjana gained valuable experience as a Research Technician Intern at CBSET in 2018, where responsibility included preparing various animals for surgery with expertise in drug calculations, catheterization, and anesthetic procedures. Anjana also worked as a Marketing Assistant at the University of Vermont from March 2014 to May 2016, where notable achievements included winning the 2015 UVM Student Life Office Poster of the Year. Anjana holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine & Surgery from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science/Pre-Vet from the University of Vermont.
Veterinary Emergency & Referral Group
The primary veterinarian is requested to alert VERG that an emergency case is being sent to our hospital from their office if possible. Should your hospital or clinic be closed during certain hours or on certain holidays, VERG will accept your pets if your primary veterinarian is unavailable. Patients referred for emergency treatment or care willbe referred back to their primary veterinarian for continued care, upon the completion of treatment at VERG.
