Mitchell Cowie

Mitchell Cowie has a solid work experience in the tech industry. Mitchell is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Vetsie Pet Care since September 2022. Prior to this, Mitchell was a Co-Founder at KYA starting in April 2022.

Before their entrepreneurial roles, Mitchell held positions at various companies. From March 2022 to June 2022, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at Packlane, where they focused on developing ecommerce features and product offerings. Mitchell successfully spearheaded the centralization of customer data collection and storage, transitioned the customer support platform with minimal disruption, and coordinated efforts across engineering teams for the beta launch of a new ecommerce platform.

From January 2020 to February 2022, Mitchell was an Ecommerce Product Manager at Watsco, Inc. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Development, Ecommerce at Baker Distributing Company from June 2017 to December 2019, and as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company from November 2015 to May 2017.

Mitchell's earlier career includes working as a Contract Web/Android Developer at Digital Media Group Canada from March 2013 to October 2015, and as a Lead Full Stack & UI/UX Engineer at Shopster e-Commerce Inc. from October 2006 to February 2013.

Mitchell Cowie completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology from the year 2002 to 2005. Mitchell further pursued their education at Ivey Business School at Western University and completed their Executive MBA from the year 2021 to 2022.
