Ritu Kumar is a Principal Scientist at Tahoe Therapeutics, specializing in Advanced Cellular Modelling since November 2025. Previously, Ritu served as the Director of the Stem Cell Core at Gladstone Institutes from 2021 to 2025, where leadership and strategic planning were key in advancing iPSC technologies for translational research. Ritu also held the position of Research Assistant Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology at Weill Cornell Medicine from 2009 to 2021, focusing on stem cell biology and uncovering significant roles for DNA methylation modifiers in cell fate transitions. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Research Associate at Weill Cornell Medicine and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, concentrating on hematopoietic stem cell biology and the impact of aging on stem cell function.
