Kate McNamara

Kate McNamara is a skilled professional with a diverse background in engineering and science. Currently serving as a Biomedical Engineer at Vexev since February 2024, Kate previously held the position of Electrical Engineer at WearOptimo from March 2021 to December 2022, along with experience as an Electrical Engineer Intern. Prior roles include intern positions at BHP and CardioNexus, and a Student Partner role at The University of Queensland. Kate's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from The University of Queensland and completion of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Additional experience includes a leadership role at Petal & Pup and participation in the Ventures Activate Program at pockt, as well as contributions to the Humanitarian Design Summit organized by Engineers Without Borders Australia.
