Alex Schernthaner

Alex Schernthaner is an experienced professional in the field of photography and editorial management, currently working as part of the Fotoredaktion team at TREND Magazin since August 2021. With a long-standing career at VGN Medien Holding since July 1996, Alex has held various roles, including deputy head of the Fotoredaktion News and contributions to the Fotoredaktion. Prior experience includes leading roles at Digital/Fotoredaktion and Magazin Format, as well as initial positions in photo archiving and assistance at Magazin News. Alex holds a Master's degree in Journalism and Communication Studies as well as Theater Studies from the University of Vienna, completed in 1995.
