Rudolf Grutschnig

Rudolf Grutschnig has extensive work experience in various positions related to IT and digital transformation. Rudolf currently holds the role of CIO at VGN Medien Holding, where they are responsible for creating a digital strategy and optimizing the user experience. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Digital CC at the same company. Before joining VGN Medien Holding, Grutschnig was the Leiter Konzern-IT, CIO at Saubermacher AG, where they led IT projects and implemented a Single-Tier ERP-Architecture. Rudolf also served as the Group Information Officer at Styria Media Group AG and held various managing director roles at Styria IT Solutions and Styria IT Solutions d.o.o. In addition, they previously worked as the Technischer Direktor at Hrvatska Styria Zeitungsbeteiligungs GmbH&CoKG, the Leiter Online Kompetenzzentrum at Styria Medien AG, and the Geschäftsführer, Leiter Crossmedia Einheit at Media Consult Austria. Grutschnig began their career as a Projektleiter at Kleine Zeitung. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in areas such as business design, governance, risk and compliance, and IT project management.
