Jonathan Watkins

Jonathan Watkins currently serves as the COO for Western Europe at VGP, a position held since December 2019. Prior to this role, Jonathan was the Head of Ops Real Estate for Amazon, overseeing warehouse and logistics properties across the European Union and the Middle East, with an emphasis on Germany and the UK. Jonathan's career also includes significant experience at Lidl Denmark and Lidl UK in various leadership roles, including Property Director and Regional Property Director, where responsibilities encompassed store and warehouse acquisitions, construction, and portfolio optimization. Jonathan's early career involved roles in property acquisition and management, as well as a tenure as a Captain in the British Army. Academically, Jonathan holds a Master’s Degree in Surveying from the University College of Estate Management and a BSc Hons in Surveying from Sheffield Hallam University.
