Susan Grundy

Susan Grundy is a senior business lawyer and is a Senior Counsel at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. She is a former General Counsel of the firm and practiced corporate restructuring and insolvency law there for many years.

She has volunteered on the boards of a number of professional and non-profit organizations including the Georgian Bay Association and Access Community Capital Fund. Susan is a Fellow of the Insolvency Institute of Canada and has been recognized as a leading woman lawyer.

She holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors Education Program, is a graduate of University of Toronto Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen’s University. She also has family experience as a caregiver. Susan joined the VHA Board in 2021.
