George Younan has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical field. George is currently serving as the Medical Director at VHC Health since 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at Reston Hospital starting from January 2021. From 2016 to 2023, they worked as a Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgeon at Virginia Surgery Associates.
In addition, George served as an Instructor at the Medical College of Wisconsin from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued their General Surgery Residency at Inova Health System from 2011 to 2015. George also gained valuable experience as a General Surgery Resident and Research Scientist at Brigham and Women's Hospital from 2007 to 2011.
George Younan attended the American University of Beirut from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology. George then continued their education at the same institution from 2003 to 2007, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree with a focus on Medicine. Following this, they attended Harvard Medical School from 2007 to 2010, where they worked as a basic science researcher specializing in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science/Research and Allied Professions.
