Ben Hawkins

Ben Hawkins is a seasoned mining professional with extensive experience in technical services and engineering roles. Currently serving as the Technical Services Manager at VHM Limited since February 2023, Ben previously held key positions at Evolution Mining, including Mine Planning and Development Manager and Underground Project Engineer, where notable work included the Definitive Feasibility Study for the Mt Carlton Underground project. Additional experience includes a contract as Project Mining Engineer at MINJAR GOLD PTY LTD and consulting at Rivine Pty Ltd. Ben's career began at Newcrest Mining and includes a tenure at Evolution Mining as both Senior Production Engineer and Mining Engineer. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Queensland, obtained in 2002, along with further studies completed in 2007.
