Itai Zeilig

Itai Zeilig is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in back-end development and system architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Backend Engineer at Vi since September 2025, Itai has previously worked as a Scala Back End Developer at Blue dot from September 2021 to September 2025, where responsibilities included designing microservices, implementing scalable solutions within AWS, and enhancing existing services. Prior to that, Itai was a Software Engineer at Munters, contributing to IoT device server-side development, and held the position of Information Technology Administrator at Calanit- Make IT Simple from 2014 to 2016, overseeing a helpdesk and providing technical support for Microsoft products. Early career experience includes serving as a Network Manager in the Israeli Defense Forces, focusing on high-pressure decision-making and network administration. Itai holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering, obtained in 2020.
