Elizabeth Ramos, LCSW has extensive experience in the field of behavioral health. Elizabeth started their career as a Community Relations and Special Programs Volunteer at Childrens Institute Inc. in 2012. Elizabeth then became a Mental Health Social Work Intern at Los Angeles Unified School District, where they focused on promoting mental health and academic achievement in children. Elizabeth then joined Mount St. Mary's College as a Student Ambassador, mentoring high school students and providing guidance on college applications and requirements.

In 2015, Elizabeth joined Eisner Pediatric and Family Medical Center as an Integrated Behavioral Health Intern & Counselor, where they provided short-term behavioral health services in an integrated primary care setting. Elizabeth collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to meet the behavioral health needs of the patients.

Elizabeth continued their career at QueensCare as a Community Health Worker, where they served as a liaison between health/social services and the community, facilitating access to services and promoting preventive healthcare. Elizabeth then transitioned to the role of a Mental Health Clinician, providing individual mental health services to children, teens, parents, and families.

Most recently, Elizabeth worked at Via Care Community Health Center. Elizabeth first held the role of Co-Director of Behavioral Health, where they developed and implemented a strategic plan for the integrated behavioral health department. Elizabeth supervised staff and managed mental health services, quality assurance, and information/billing systems. Elizabeth then took on the position of Director of Behavioral Health, overseeing the planning and implementation of mental health services and collaborating with the leadership team to ensure effective and quality care.

Throughout their career, Elizabeth has demonstrated expertise in providing direct individual mental health services, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and making referrals. Elizabeth is experienced in various therapeutic methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices. Elizabeth also has a strong understanding of the importance of cultural competence in service delivery.

Elizabeth Ramos, LCSW obtained their Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in Health from the USC School of Social Work, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology at Mount Saint Mary's University, where they attended from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their educational achievements, Elizabeth has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills. In 2015, they completed Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training through the Los Angeles Unified School District. The same year, they also completed certifications in Motivational Interviewing and Problem Solving Therapy at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. In 2019, Elizabeth obtained a certificate in Mindful Awareness Practices for Daily Living from the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center. In 2021, they received a 200-hour Wellness, SEL, and Yoga Teacher Certification from Breathe For Change. Most recently, in June 2023, Elizabeth obtained the Bringing Light to Motherhood: Perinatal Mental Health Certificate from Maternal Mental Health Now. It's worth noting that Elizabeth also holds a certification in Mental Health First Aid, though the institution and specific details about its completion are unspecified.
