Via Credit Union
Georgette Miller has over 30 years of experience in the banking and lending industry. Georgette started their career at Summit Bank in 1987, where they worked as a teller, customer service representative, and mortgage processor and closer. In 1993, Summit Bank was acquired by First Chicago NBD, and Georgette continued their work there, eventually transitioning into mortgage loan origination. In 1999, First Chicago NBD merged with Union Planters Bank, and Georgette held various roles in the merged organization, including mortgage loan originator, teller, customer service representative, and mortgage processor and closer. In 1999, they joined MutualBank as a financial center manager, responsible for managing a busy branch office and originating consumer and mortgage loan applications. Most recently, Georgette served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at Via Credit Union, starting in 2014.
Georgette Miller attended Indiana Wesleyan University from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Management. Prior to their university education, they completed their high school graduation at MIssissinewa Community Schools, where they focused on College Preparatory courses. No specific starting and ending years were provided for their high school education.
Via Credit Union
Via Credit Union was formed in 1936 by a group of school teachers and administrators with 38 members, less than $100 in assets and was operated out of the home of the volunteer Treasurer until 1965. Today, ViaCU serves nearly 40,000 members in 12 counties, has assets over $500 million, operates six branches and employs over 100 staff members.
