Alisha Powers has a diverse work experience in various educational and healthcare roles. Alisha began their career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Prime Care Hospice in 2011. Alisha then joined Teach For America in 2013, where they served as a Teach for America Corps Member, Content Leader, and Corps Member Advisor. Following this, Alisha worked at William R. Sullivan Elementary School as an 8th Grade Teacher, where they implemented effective teaching strategies and facilitated the integration of technology in the classroom.
