Sachi Schmidt

Sachi Schmidt has over 20 years of experience in licensing and intellectual property management. Currently serving as Senior Licensing Program Manager at Via Licensing Alliance since February 2010, Sachi has held the position of Senior Manager for Audio Programs since February 2022. Prior to this, Sachi worked as a Royalty Financial Analyst at VIZ Media from April 2008 to January 2010, where responsibilities included royalty analysis and ensuring compliance with licensing agreements. Earlier experience includes a role as Intellectual Property Administrator at Onkyo Corporation from April 2000 to February 2007, focusing on patent and trademark applications and infringement analysis. Sachi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kobe University, earned between 1996 and 2000.
