Mindy Hickman has extensive experience in behavioral health and social work, currently serving as a Crisis Intake professional at Via Linda Behavioral Hospital since April 2022, while also working as a School Social Worker for Scottsdale Unified School District since July 2017. Previous roles include Crisis Counselor at Banner Psychiatric Center, Crisis Specialist at Crisis Response Network, and Crisis Interventionist at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital, among others. Mindy has a solid background in patient services and crisis management, complemented by a Master of Science in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and Management from the University of Phoenix. Via Linda Behavioral Hospital
Via Linda Behavioral Hospital offers inpatient psychiatric hospitalization and intensive outpatient programming for adults (ages 18 and older) and adolescents (ages 12-17). Our new 120-bed facility on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community offers mental health services to Scottsdale, and the greater Phoenix Arizona region for adolescents and adults experiencing mood, thought and co-occurring substance use disorders, including suicidality, depression, and anxiety. Licensed clinicians are available for no-cost, confidential mental health assessments 24 hours a day, seven days a week. No appointment or referral is required.
