Sandip Sen

Sandip Sen, GISP, serves as the Director of Planning and Scheduling at VIA Metropolitan Transit since July 2022, overseeing the development and implementation of innovative transit solutions and managing various initiatives to enhance mobility in San Antonio. With extensive experience in urban planning, Sandip co-founded The Realm of Planning LLC and has held positions at Trinity Metro and other transportation organizations where responsibilities included leading service implementation, strategic partnerships, and transit network redesigns. Sandip's academic contributions include serving as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Texas at Arlington, where Sandip assists in teaching GIS and Land Suitability. With a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning and a Bachelor's in Architecture, Sandip combines technical expertise with a passion for effective urban mobility solutions.
