Richard Clayton (Dick)

Dick Clayton is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Richard (Dick) began their career as a Partner at Parr Waddoups in 1981, where they worked until 1989. Richard (Dick) then joined Geneva Steel as an Executive Vice President and Director, holding the position until 1998. From 1999 to 2002, Dick was a Partner at Parsons Behle & Latimer. Richard (Dick) then moved to Holland & Hart LLP, where they became a Partner and worked until 2007. In 2007, they joined Raser Technologies as an Executive Vice President and General Counsel, a role they held until 2011. Finally, Dick joined VIA Motors, Inc. in 2010, where they have held the positions of CFO, COO, and General Counsel.

Richard (Dick) Clayton completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business. Richard (Dick) attended this institution from 1974 to 1978. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree in Law between 1978 and 1981.
