Geert Paemen

Geert Paemen is a seasoned professional in sustainability and corporate ethics with extensive leadership experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Group Sustainability Director at VIA OUTLETS since September 2020, Geert has designed and implemented a robust sustainability strategy in collaboration with APG, the sole shareholder. Previous roles include Global Director for Sustainability at Telefonica Group, where Geert oversaw the Responsible Business Plan, and Head of Sustainability at Telefonica, managing initiatives related to climate change, human rights, and ESG reporting. Early career positions involved strategic roles at Fundación Telefonica and Fundación Lealtad. Geert holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master’s degree in European Law from the College of Europe, and a Bachelor of Laws from KU Leuven.
