Mathieu Paquette

Mathieu Paquette, CRHA, currently serves as the Chief Employee Experience Officer at VIA Rail Canada since March 2023. Prior to this role, Mathieu held various positions at Orica, including Head of HR for North America and Senior HR Manager for Global ISPE from October 2018 to March 2023. Mathieu's career at Orica Mining Services spanned from January 2010 to September 2020, during which Mathieu progressed from HR Manager Canada to HR NA Manufacturing Manager. Earlier experience includes serving as HR & Compliance Manager at TransForce Inc. from October 2003 to December 2009. In terms of education, Mathieu earned a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Melbourne Business School in 2018 and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Law at Université de Montréal, following studies at UQAM and Champlain St Lawrence College.
