Pascal Castiello

Pascal Castiello is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in technical services and project management. Currently serving as Senior Director, Technical Services & Chief Engineer at VIA Rail Canada since January 2015, Pascal has also held positions such as Director of Engineering and Senior Manager, Engineering. Prior to this role, positions included Director of Engineering Projects and Engineering Manager at Canada Post, as well as Manager of Engineering/Operations at Coen Canada Inc., demonstrating a strong background in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex engineering projects. Early career experience includes roles as Machine Design Manager at Kvaerner Hymac Inc. and Project Manager at Tecsult Inc., where Pascal managed various initiatives, including the design of recycling equipment and environmental assessments. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, and an Executive Development Course from McGill School of Business.
