Marie Pinna

Marie (Mimi) Pinna's work experience includes roles in various organizations. Marie (Mimi) is currently working as a Partnerships Associate Principal at Via, where they are involved in re-engineering public transit to create a more dynamic and efficient system. Prior to that, they worked as an Account Executive and Transit Development Representative at Swiftly, where they supported city transit networks and professionals around the world. Marie (Mimi) also worked as a Development Associate at Sterne School, where they contributed to fundraising efforts. Mimi holds a Master's degree in Urban Development Planning from UCL and has conducted research on urban development and planning challenges in the Global South. Marie (Mimi) has also held positions at organizations such as the Bay Area Discovery Museum, SPUR, Rising Sun Energy Center, Center for Regional Change, UC Davis Bodega Marine Laboratory, and Global Brigades, where they gained experience in areas such as development coordination, community outreach, research, and legal consulting.

Marie (Mimi) Pinna completed their Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs, along with Community and Regional Development, at the University of California, Davis from 2014 to 2017. In 2016, they also studied abroad at the University of Bristol, focusing on English art, public policy, and history during the fall semester. In 2018, Marie pursued an MSc in Urban Development Planning at UCL, which they completed in 2019.
