Juha Schweighofer

Juha Schweighofer is a highly experienced expert in ship technology, currently serving as a Top Expert for Ship Technology at viadonau since January 2006, where responsibilities include project management, international cooperation, and providing expertise in ship technology specific to inland waterway transport and Danube navigation. Prior to this role, Juha served as a Senior Research Scientist at Helsinki University of Technology from January 2004 to December 2005, focusing on research, numerical simulations of high-Reynolds-number flows around ships, teaching, and project management. Juha earned a Doctor of Science in Technology with a specialization in Ship Technology from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where an M.Sc. degree was also achieved.
