Scott Garberding

Scott retired from Stellantis in July 2021 after serving as the Senior Vice President for the Stellantis Production Way. Prior to Stellantis, he served in several positions as a member of the FCA Group Executive Council (GEC) beginning in September 2013. In 2018, Mr. Garberding was appointed as Chief Manufacturing Officer for FCA. Prior to that, he served as the Head of Quality from May 2016 to October 2018. He also served as Chief Purchasing Officer and was based in Turin, Italy from September 2013 until he moved into the Quality role. For four years prior to serving on the FCA Group Executive Council, Scott was the Head of Manufacturing/World Class Manufacturing for Chrysler and then FCA US LLC. In this position, he was responsible for all assembly, stamping, and powertrain manufacturing operations in North America, as well as for the mplementation of the World Class Manufacturing system at all FCA US manufacturing facilities. In 2008, Mr. Garberding served as Chief Procurement Officer, Chrysler Group, and Vice President - Global Alliance Operations. Before that, he was Vice President - Supply and Supplier Quality. Mr. Garberding joined Chrysler Corporation in 1993 in the Manufacturing organization. Mr. Garberding earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas and a Master of Science degree in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
