Santiago Galindo has worked in a variety of roles, beginning with a Web Developer at Net Theory in 2012. Santiago then served as a Volunteer Staff for Transition Banyule and WWOOF Australia in 2013. In 2015, they were a Senior Web Developer for the Ministerio de Agricultura, Ganaderia, Acuacultura y Pesca, a Senior Professional Services Consultant for PROBIO Agricultores Biológicos, and a Community Volunteer for Curvatecture. In 2017, they were a Systems Analyst for the Ministerio de Cultura y Patrimonio del Ecuador and in 2018, an Arquitecto de Soluciones for Dirección Metropolitana de Informática. Currently, Santiago is a Customer Success Engineer for Viafoura, working with over 600 media brands to engage, convert and monetize their digital audiences.

Santiago Galindo obtained a Masters of Sustainable Practice in Environmental Science from RMIT University between 2013 and 2014. Santiago also obtained an Ingeniero en Sistemas Informáticos y de Computación in Computer and Information Sciences from Escuela Politécnica Nacional between 2001 and 2009. Additionally, Santiago Galindo has obtained eight certifications from IBM and Lightbend, Inc. in May 2019.
