Joana Guedes da Silva has extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry, currently serving as the Area Manager for Product & Operations Azores within the Global Sourcing & Procurement Division at Viagens Abreu, S.A. since May 2014. Joana has previously held positions as Operations Manager and Business Development Manager at Abreu, a Destination Management Company known for its operational offices across Portugal, Spain, and Brazil. Prior to this role, Joana worked at Turangra Viagens e Turismo from October 2000 to March 2014, where responsibilities included travel planning, customer service, and liaising with various stakeholders in the travel sector. Joana holds a degree in Social Sciences with a focus on Psychology from Universidade Aberta and possesses strong skills in communication, organization, project management, negotiation, and budget management.
