Gurman Brar 👨🏾💻

Gurman Brar has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Gurman started their career as a Junior Auto-Mechanic at North Eastern Trucking Inc in 2018. In 2019, they served as a Mentor for Glendale FRC team at FIRST Robotics Canada, providing assistance in hardware and programming.

From 2020 to 2022, Gurman worked at Veer AI, Altis Labs, Ford Motor Company, and DNAstack, taking on various software engineering roles. At Veer AI, they contributed to the planning, building, and deployment of a SaaS product architecture, specializing in React JS and ES6 JS for user interface development.

In 2022, Gurman joined SeroTracker as a Full-stack Developer, working on web application development. Currently, they are employed at Vial as a Software Engineer, starting in January 2023. Overall, Gurman Brar has valuable experience in software engineering, full-stack development, and mentoring.

Gurman Brar pursued their education with a focus on STEM subjects. In 2016, they attended Glendale Secondary School and successfully obtained their High School Diploma in 2019. Building upon their academic journey, Gurman entered the University of Waterloo in 2019, where they are currently working towards a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. These educational experiences indicate Gurman's commitment to their studies and their interest in the field of engineering within the medical and healthcare domain.
