Tim Kelleher's work experience begins in 1993 when they joined Summit Technology Ireland B.V. as an Engineer. Tim then worked as a Development Engineer at Summit Technology from 1993 to 1998. In 1998, they joined Marconi as a Test Development Engineer until 2000. During this time, they also worked as a Clinical Applications Specialist at Summit Autonomous from February 2000 to October 2000.

In 2000, Tim joined Alcon, A Novartis Division as a Refractive Sales Manager for Northern Europe. Tim later became the Clinical Applications Manager in 2002 and then the Refractive Sales Manager for Alcon Laboratories UK Limited in 2004. From 2006 to 2012, they served as the Country Manager/Market Head for Alcon in Ireland, managing sales and marketing activities and overseeing various sales roles, including vision care sales and surgical equipment and disposables sales. Tim also worked as the Refractive Sales Manager UK & Ireland and later became the Managing Director EMEA at Ivantis, Inc from 2012 to 2016.

From 2016 to 2020, Tim worked at Glaukos Corporation, first as the Market Development Director Europe and then as the Commercial Director Europe Middle East & India. In 2020, they joined Ora, Inc. as the Senior Director Business Development, Europe. Currently, Tim serves as the Director of International Clinical Operations at ViaLase, Inc since March 2023.

Additionally, Tim Kelleher has their own consultancy, Eye Innovation Consultants Limited, where they have been the Director/Owner since October 2012. Their role involves consultancy in ophthalmic technologies, market access activities in EU markets, surgeon didactic and wetlab training, in-theatre surgeon proctoring in ophthalmic surgical procedures, and executing surgical clinical studies in ophthalmology.

Tim Kelleher's education history is as follows:

From 1987 to 1988, Tim attended the University of Bristol, where they studied Aeronautics.

From 1988 to 1991, they enrolled in University College Cork, obtaining their BSc degree in maths, physics, and computer science.

In 1992 and 1993, Tim pursued their MSc degree in Optoelectronics at Queen's University Belfast.

In 2005 and 2006, they attended The Open University, completing a Professional Diploma in Management.

Additionally, in October 2020, Tim obtained a certification as a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM™) from the Project Management Institute.
