Alex Job

Alex Job has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles.

Starting in 1985, Alex held the position of Eastern Division VP of Affiliate Sales / Cable and Broadcasting at Home Shopping Network during its startup phase. Here, Alex played a significant role in expanding the company's reach to 50 million households and securing affiliation pacts with 13 broadcast stations across the US.

In 1997, Alex joined GTE americast as a Market Channel Manager, overseeing a team of 65 sales, marketing, and administrative staff. During this time, Alex achieved the Presidents Award twice and contributed to the creation of a technical/sales manual.

After GTE americast, Alex worked at Verizon as a Channel Manager before joining Viamedia in 2004 as a Local Advertising Sales Manager. In this role, Alex managed 45+ accounts and successfully increased sales by 54%, growing revenue from $550K to $850K.

At Viamediatv.com, Alex held multiple positions, starting as a Local Sales Manager, managing 84 accounts and generating $2.4M in annual revenues. Later on, Alex became the General Manager, responsible for full P&L, financial, IT, and operational accountabilities for 5 offices throughout Florida. Additionally, Alex led successful market expansions, improved inventory management, and implemented effective marketing strategies that contributed to the growth of the Tampa market from $2.4M to $11M.

Currently, Alex is the Director of Sales at OAI Visual Branding, where they are responsible for establishing sales objectives, developing annual sales quotas, and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Alex's strengths include team building, leadership, and strategic planning. Continual professional development is also a priority for Alex, as they actively participate in educational opportunities and stay connected with various professional organizations.

Alex Job attended the University of Tampa from 1977 to 1981. During this time, they earned both a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Management and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science.
