Yusuf Safdari

Yusuf Safdari is the current VP of Business Enablement and Legal Ops at Vianai Systems. Prior to their current position, they were the Vice President and General Counsel at HyperGrid from December 2016 to February 2019. Yusuf has also held the position of Associate General Counsel at Sensity Systems Inc. from March 2015 to December 2016. In this role, they helped lead the legal group at an IoT company that was acquired by Verizon in 2016. Prior to their work at Sensity Systems Inc., Yusuf was a Senior Counsel in Corporate Securities Technology at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP from January 2007 to March 2015, where they led, negotiated, and executed public and private corporate deals ranging from millions to billions in value. Before joining Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, Yusuf was a Partner in Corporate Securities at Greenberg Traurig from January 2003 to December 2007. Yusuf began their career as an Associate in Corporate Securities Group at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati from January 2000 to December 2003 before moving to Jenner & Block as an Associate in Corporate Securities from January 1998 to December 2000.

Yusuf Safdari attended the University of Chicago, where they earned a B.A. in Political Science with Honors. Yusuf then attended Northwestern University, where they earned a J.D.
