Markus Jung is a Java developer at VIVAVIS since February 2023, with a strong background in software and hardware development. Previously, Markus served as a scientific employee and doctoral candidate at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from June 2015 to May 2022, focusing on security and energy efficiency in IoT as well as advanced networking of cyber-physical systems within Smart Factories and Industry 4. Before that, Markus gained experience as a hardware and software developer at cuviso GbR, working on peripheral components for 3D visualization systems from June 2009 to January 2016, and as a software developer at ProNES automation GmbH, where a redundant application for remote monitoring and control of solar power plants was developed in early 2008. Markus holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
