Viria Carmona

Viria Carmona currently serves as the Director of Program Management for New Product Introduction/New Product Development at Viant Medical, where responsibilities include providing leadership and oversight for the realization of new revenue opportunities through the continuous improvement of organizational structures and processes. Prior roles include New Product Introduction Manager and Program Manager Coordinator at MedPlast Inc., where Viria led cross-functional teams across multiple sites to ensure effective product launches and expansions. As Senior Program Manager at Vention Medical Costa Rica, Viria directed the Program Management Office, supporting key project goals and mentoring team members. Earlier experience at Hologic, Inc. as a Senior New Product Development Engineer involved leading projects to meet budget and timeline objectives. Viria holds a Master's degree in Program Management from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica and a degree in Industrial Process Engineering from Tecnológico de Costa Rica, along with a PMP certification from the Institute of Project Management.
