Viapath
Mattias Jansson is a Clinical Scientist at Viapath since October 2015, specializing in Whole Genome Sequencing for rare disease diagnosis in collaboration with the Clinical Genetics department at Guy's Hospital. Previously, Mattias co-managed the Clinical Exome Service at Viapath, focusing on Whole Exome Sequencing for rare disease and syndrome patients. Prior to this role, Mattias worked as a Clinical Molecular Scientist at Uppsala Akademiska Hospital from May 2009 to September 2015, where responsibilities included clinical genetic services and laboratory testing in various domains, with certification from The Swedish Society of Medical Genetics obtained in April 2013. Mattias also served as a Post-Doc at Uppsala University from April 2006 to April 2009, concentrating on translational research in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia. Educationally, Mattias holds a PhD in Medical Genetics and a Master of Science in Molecular Biology, both obtained from Uppsala University.
