Shawn Freeman

Shawn Freeman currently serves as the VP, Technical, North America at VIAS3D since August 2022, following a distinguished career at Dassault Systemes from February 2007 to August 2022, where roles included SIMULIA R&D Applications Director and Solution Technical Senior Manager. Previous positions include Technical Consultant at Freeman & Associates, LLC, Project Manager at MSC.Software, and Field Services Consultant at Platform Computing, Inc. Additionally, Shawn held various roles at Altair Engineering, contributing as both Project Manager and Market Segment Specialist, and began a career as a Product Design Engineer at Ford Motor Company. Shawn Freeman holds an MSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
