Geoff Gibbs

Geoff Gibbs has extensive experience in systems architecture and administrative roles, particularly in SAN storage and UNIX environments. Since January 2009, Geoff has held dual positions as Manager of SAN Storage and Sr. UNIX Administrator at both Wild Blue Communications and ViaSat. Prior to these roles, Geoff worked at Overland Storage as a Developer and Application Engineer, and served as Engineer and CTO at Tavata Software Corp. From December 1998 to May 2000, Geoff managed UNIX systems at Corporate Express, ensuring the functionality of a 24/7 UNIX infrastructure. Early career experience includes UNIX and VMS System Administration at Jeppesen Sanderson (Boeing) and Jeppesen. Geoff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Wyoming, obtained between 1979 and 1983.
