Joseph Valentini

Joseph Valentini, CPA MBA, currently serves as a Senior Government Accountant at Viasat Inc. since March 2021, where responsibilities include coordinating with the Corporate Finance team to manage indirect rates and collaborating with the Corporate FP&A team on budgeting and forecasting for annual Forward Pricing Rate Proposals. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Accountant at BD, where management of deferred revenue and Sarbanes-Oxley controls were key focuses, and Corporate Accountant - Program Revenue Specialist at The Evergreen Association of WNY, where a master allocation model for a $30 million program was developed. Joseph Valentini began a career in finance with positions at NRG Curtailment Solutions, Citigroup, Toski & Co CPAs, Lawler and Witkowski CPAs, and also gained managerial experience as an Assistant Store Manager at Starbucks Coffee Company. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Professional Accounting from Canisius University and a Bachelor of Science in Fashion and Textile Technology from Buffalo State University.
