Michael Wu

Michael Wu, MS, HSEM, is an experienced security management professional currently serving as Manager of Global Security Operations at Viasat since March 2021, where responsibilities include developing policies for the protection of people, property, and information globally. Wu also leads the Viasat Veterans Alliance as Chapter Chair, supporting the organization’s mission for veteran service. Prior roles include Safety and Security Manager at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, where oversight encompassed over 30 buildings, and a brief role as a Legal Assistant with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Wu’s career began in the United States Marine Corps, progressing through various security and administrative positions, supported by a robust academic background in Homeland Security, Organizational Leadership, and Political Science.
