Tim Cares

Tim Cares has extensive experience in software development and quality assurance, currently serving as Director of Integration and Test at Viasat, since April 2018. Prior roles include Product Engineering Manager at Viasat, Senior Director of Software Development at Sigma Designs following its acquisition of Bretelon, and Vice President of Software Development at Bretelon, where responsibility included managing firmware and software development for IoT devices. Additional experience includes managing software QA engineering at Omnitracs, customer care and QA at Nirvanix, and various leadership positions in quality assurance and support services at multiple companies, including GERS Retail Systems and eHNC. Tim Cares holds a BA and MA in English from San Diego State University and Claremont Graduate University, respectively.
