Kent Matsumoto

Kent Matsumoto is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various in-house legal roles, currently serving as Viatris North America Operations Counsel since 2020. At Viatris, a significant global healthcare company, Kent provides commercial counsel and strategically assesses and mitigates risk. Additionally, Kent is an accomplished author, having released the award-winning WWII historical novel "Of White Ashes," inspired by family stories. Kent holds positions as an Independent Board Director at PeoplesBank and as Vice President and Board Member for Head Start of Washington County, Maryland. Previous roles include co-founding Golf Rulz LLC and practicing law at notable law firms. Kent obtained a JD from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. with High Distinction in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
